Ada Lucille Schnur

Ada Lucille Schnur, age 88, of Archbold Ohio, formerly of Delta, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 in her home. She was born on January 8, 1929 to Allison and Mary (Zaerr) Ledyard in Burlington, Ohio. Ada worked in the factory for the Campbell Soup for over 25 years.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, and gardening, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Janet Gibson; stepdaughter, Rachel Schnur; son, Butch and Karen Schnur; stepdaughter, Michelle and Fred Schnur-Cortez; 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Velda and Gordon Beidler; and brothers, Dale Ledyard and Roger and Rosalyn Ledyard.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Virginia Ruby.

Family and friends may visit, Wednesday, May 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home, 400 W. Main St. in Delta (419.822.3121). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Rison officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
