Allison May Rinehart

Allison May Rinehart, age 89, of Lyons, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2015, at The Fulton Manor in Wauseon. She was born January 2, 1926 in Delta, Ohio to Arthur and Daisy (Robasser) Donahue. Allison was a 1944 graduate of Lyons. She married James Rinehart, and he preceded her in death.

Allison retired from Wauseon Wire Manufacturing and was a member of James W. Kahle Lyons Ladies Auxiliary Post #7574. Allison enjoyed crocheting, working word search puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by her children, Betty Ridge, Larry Rinehart, Bonnie Miller, Barbara Bongiorno, Randall (Karen) Rinehart, and James Rinehart; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert (Kathryn) Donahue.

Besides her husband, James, Allison was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond, Gerald, and William.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, where a VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Lyons Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.

Residence: Lyons, Ohio

Visitation: Wednesday, June 10th from 2 to 8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, Ohio

Funeral Service: Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home

Interment: Lyons Cemetery
