Amy Ann Gross

Amy Ann Gross, age 74, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Friday afternoon, June 6, 2025 at hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer. Amy was born November 16, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Chester N. and Virginia A. (Pietrykowski) Kijowski. Amy was a 1968 graduate of McCauley High School and attended the University of Toledo. On April 6, 1974, Amy married the love of her life, Ronald L. Gross.

Amy enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking and riding her bicycle. The most important part of Amy's life was her family, she loved spending time with her grandkids and attending all their events. Her favorite morning routine was enjoying a good cup of coffee while petting her cats.

Amy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ron Gross; children, Lori (Brent) Golias, Lindsay Gross, Chris Gross and Brian (Jennifer) Gross; grandchildren, Kayla, Ellie and Ava Golias, Blake and Kate Gross.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Kijowski.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 16th from 10 am to 11 am at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 333 Brookside Dr., Swanton, with Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. in church. Burial will follow in St. Richard's Cemetery.
