Anita Michelle Ketring

Anita Michelle (Robinette) Ketring, age 47 of Lyons, Ohio, gained her wings and joined the angels Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 25, 1968 in Alexandria, Virginia to James and Hattie Robinette. Michelle was a 1986 graduate of Evergreen High School and obtained her nursing degree from the Toledo School of Practical Nursing in 1993. She was a volunteer on the Swanton Rescue Unit from 1992 to 2001.

Michelle touched so many lives with her loving compassion and infectious way of making people laugh. Her dedication to, and love of family, especially her son, Xaviar, was just one of her many beautiful qualities that will be missed so very much by all the lives and hearts she touched.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, James Robinette, and is survived by her mother, Hattie Robinette; son, Xaviar Isaiah Robinette; sister, Gina Bissonnette; niece, Emily Bissonnette; stepdaughters, Keri (Kevin) Ketring-Black and Kelli Ketring; as well as many aunts; uncles and cousins whom she adored.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora, Ohio (419.644.3601). Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Frantz officiating. Interment will follow at Lyons Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons Fire & Rescue or to a Trust Fund set up for Xaviar.
