Arlene L. Brown

Arlene L. Brown, age 84, of Swanton, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born November 27, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to Earl and Margaret (Baker) Foxe. Arlene married William Brown and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepson, William C. Brown, Jr. and son-in-law, Mark Thurston.

Arlene’s daily routine was watching The Price is Right and Soap Operas. She loved playing Bunko and rooting on her favorite sports team, The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Arlene will be greatly missed by her daughters, Cindy (Melvin) Weaver, Marilyn (Dan) Punches, Joan Glassford, Carolyn Thurston and Tammy (John) Fately; stepdaugthers, Sandy (Phil) Hasty; Diane Colello, Sharon Brownfield and Penny (Don) Weber; stepson, Jimmy Brown; numerous grandkids, great-grandkids and 1 great-great-granddaughter; as well as her sister, Margaret “Sue” (Ray) Pawlaczyk and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, William; Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Delores Pratt and Virginia Malczewski and brother, Earl A.Foxe Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will
begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
