Arthur Wayne Hassen

Arthur W. Hassen, age 62, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, with his wife by his side, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. 

Arthur was born December 26, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Sue (Spradling) and Robert Hassen, and was a 1973 graduate of Evergreen High School.  He worked as a Timber Frame home builder for over 30 years, and then as an electrical control panel builder to finish his career before he retired. 

Arthur loved camping with family and friends.  He is survived by Marsha, his wife of 18 years; mother, Sue Hassen; children, Eric (Rian) Hassen, Julie (Branton) Pardee, Abby Hassen, David (Nicole) Lantz, Travis Vaculik; and 6 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings, Fred (Barb) Hassen, Linda (Mike) Nagy, Mary (Ron) Lawson, Paul Hassen, Rob (Pam) Hassen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hassen; brother, Ed and sister, Patti. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Richfield Township, followed by a celebration of life reception in the Catholic War Veterans Hall in Assumption.
