Bernard C. Brown

Bernard "Bernie" C. Brown, age 80, of Swanton, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Bernie was born May 28, 1942 to Charles A. and Freada H. (Baker) Brown. Bernie was a truck driver for many years and owned his own painting business. One of his greatest accomplishments was riding his 1972 Yamaha SX 650 across country. First and foremost, he loved his family, but he also loved his dogs, fishing, and being outdoors. He also enjoyed a good party and was a joy to be around. 

Bernie is survived by his significant other, lady Jane Barber; his children Brent Brown, Bridget Holland, Bruce Brown and Keeley Brown. His sisters, Charlotte (Bruce) Hall; Marjorie (James) Fischer; Elizabeth (Allan) Bell; Jeannette Brown and Deborah Seabaugh; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grand kids. And many other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nathaniel Phillips. 

Visitation for Bernie will be held Friday, July 22 from 12:00 pm to 2 pm at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, Ohio, with services following at 2 pm.
