Brigitte "Oma" Wagener

Brigitte B. Wagener, affectionately known as Oma, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Augsburg, Germany to Johann Baptist and Anna Marie Sofie (Strauss) Reger. She married her beloved husband, Samuel Lee Wagener, and he preceded her in death.

Oma was a wonderful mother raising four children and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Swanton. She loved spending time at their cabin up north, and most of all, Oma cherished spending time with her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Steve Wagener, Diana (Jim) Pruss, Christina (Mike) Bruce and Bryan Wagener; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters living overseas in Europe; as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service celebrating Oma's life will be held Saturday, May 7th at 1:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 200 Dodge Street in Swanton with Pastor Scott Carmen officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
