Caroline Ann Pine

Caroline Ann Pine, age 65, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday morning, March 10, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Caroline was born March 24, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank E, Sr. and Mary Ann (Nuber) Dieball. She was a 1975 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School, and married Fred J. Pine, Jr. on July 22, 1978. Caroline worked at Sunshine Children’s Home as a direct care provider.

Caroline is survived by her husband of 44 years, Fred; son, Jesse (Kristi) Pine; grandchildren, Morgan and Jaxson Pine; brother, Frank (Darlene) Dieball; sister, Mary F. (James) Briolat; and many nieces and nephews.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Betsy Dieball.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 15th from 3 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16th at 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
