Clara Nowak

Clara Nowak, age 94, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center.  She was born May 16, 1924 in Monroe, Michigan to the late Theresa (Fritz) and Lewis Knaggs.  She married Anthony Nowak, and he preceded her in death.

Clara retired from Chrysler Jeep where she worked as an inspector.  She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Parish and was as an animal lover.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Nowak; son, Anthony J. (Pam) Nowak; granddaughters, Lisa Wylie and Darla Nowak-Partin; and great-grandchildren, Zak and Zara Wylie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Richard Catholic Church in Swanton, where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld presiding.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
