Clara Sadowski, age 90, of Swanton, Ohio, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 2008 at Harborside in Swanton. She was born August 1, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Stella (Lewandowski). Clara worked at Owens Illinois as a glass worker for 42 years.
She is survived by her siblings, Eleanor Olejniczak of Swanton, OH, Chester (Dorothy) Sadowski of Swanton, OH, Daniel Sadowski of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Alice Sadowski of Maumee, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank and Charlie Sadowski, and sister, Verna Grabowski.
In keeping with Clara’s wishes, services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Swanton Fire & Rescue or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
