Graveside Services: Friday, May 20th at 2:00 pm at East Swanton Cemetery

Darlene F. Zawacki, age 62, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Swanton Health Care and Retirement Center. She was born May 25, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Jacob and Hattie Rybarczyk, and was a graduate of Libbey High School.

Darlene married Theodore Zawacki in May of 1990. She worked as a secretary for Toledo Public Schools until her retirement in 2012. Darlene enjoyed traveling to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and to Clear Water Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Delta Eagles Lodge #2597, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #479 and Swanton VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #8598.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Theodore; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Rybarczyk; sisters, Mary Hicks and Jackie Zeno; 5 nieces and 1 nephew.

Graveside services will be held at East Swanton Cemetery on Friday, May 20th at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
