Dawn Marie Lamberts
Dawn was a woman who was loved by everyone, who always helped others, and put others’ needs before her own. Like her namesake, her smile brought light, warmth, and happiness to those who were blessed to know her.
Her love for life could be seen through the adventures she took with her beloved husband of 16 years, Chuck Lamberts and family. If not traveling across the world or taking cross-country trips on the motorcycle, Dawn cherished gardening, and loved creating an outdoor oasis for all God’s creatures including her favorite, hummingbirds.
Throughout her career, Dawn worked for Toledo area attorneys and the Lucas County Auditor’s office. Most importantly, Dawn considered living life to the fullest with her loved ones to be the best job of all.
On December 20, 2020, at age 57, Dawn Lamberts was called home to her Heavenly Father. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Chuck; daughter, Sara (Doug) Fulton, Rayna (Joe) Fraker; grandson, Avery; sister, Lynne (Larry) Shirey; nephew, Derrick (Summer) Shirey; niece, Britni Smith, as well as many others who held her close to their hearts.
Dawn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Boyd and Lotty Smith; parents, James and Blanche; brother, Michael Beck; niece, Cortni Beck and her aunt, Patricia Kusino.
Services at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton will be private.
In lieu of memorial contributions, the family encourages all those who were touched by Dawn’s life to follow all CDC recommendations to stay safe and keep others safe during this COVID-19 pandemic.
I was terribly saddened to learn of Dawn's passing. She was always bright and bubbly when I would deliver the mail to the law office where she worked. She was always interested in what was happening in my life, and always made me feel better when I was experiencing some rough patches.

I always looked forward to seeing Dawns smiling face when I delivered the mail at the law office where she worked. She was always friendly and concerned with the challenges I was facing in my life. God Bless her family and friends at this trying time.

I didn't know Dawn and don't even know Sara that well. Seeing them together in pictures is quite endearing. I'm so sorry for your loss, Sara, as well as Chuck and Doug. She was all yours for a short while. Your memories of her will bring you great comfort.. Rest in peace, Dear Dawn.

I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Dawn at the Auditors office, she always had a smile and said good morning to everyone. She even took the time to ask if you recently got your haircut (it looked beautiful) or was that a new top? (that fits you great, love that color on you) She was the sweetest person, she came to my birthday party after I had a hard year. She will be missed.
