Deloras E. Savage

Deloras E. Savage was born to Aaron V. and D'nelle L. (Simcox) Weide on January 15, 1931.  She was the second born child, having an older brother. Deloras attended Libbey High School.
 

On June 8, 1951 she married Harry D. Savage, of Toledo, Ohio.  Together they raised six children.  Deloras was a loving wife and mother.  During her lifetime she and her husband traveled with their children, having visited nearly every state in the U.S.  She had a special talent for cooking and decorating.  She enjoyed the sunshine and swimming pools.  She was caring and kind to her 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  Deloras had a special place in her heart for her small dog, "Cookie", whom she was especially fond of.
 

Surviving are her loving husband, Harry D. Savage; Children - Harry & (Wanda) Savage,    Laura DeGue, Michael & (Denise) Savage, Charlene Hutchinson, Douglas & (Sherri) Savage, James & (Mary) Savage; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Harley & (Theresa) Weide. 
 

Preceding her in death were her father, Aaron V. Weide and her mother, D'nelle L. (Simcox) Weide.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church in Swanton, Ohio.
