Dennis L. McKeand

Dennis L. McKeand passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania with his wife (of 33 years), Glenda by his side. He was born on July23, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio.

Dennis was an avid reader, crossword puzzle whiz and weather channel devotee. He also loved the Detroit Tigers, watching football and Nascar, all of which he and Glenda cheered on their favorite teams together. People would say that he and Glenda were the perfect match, and they were right, they were best friends. He was also very proud of his grandsons, Tevin and Christopher.

He was preceded in death by his father Lynden (Eva) McKeand; stepfather, Roman Suszka; father-in-law, Dominic DeSantis; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Janet Berry; and treasured friend, Jim Roberts.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted mother, Mary "Penny" Suszka; daughter, Sarah (Chris) Boykin; grandsons, Tevin and Christopher Boykin; sisters-in-law, Brenda Brachais, Karla Berry, Krista (Steve) Rickner; lifelong friends, Sam Kitchens and Bob Spurling; and many extended family members and friends.

Special thanks to close family friends, Vic Szymanski and Scott Stanbridge for their support throughout the years. Per Dennis' request, there will be no services.
