Dolores Moore

Dolores Moore, age 89, of Metamora, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Thursday May 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 12, 1928 in Toledo to Frank and Annie (Neiscur) Garcia.  Dolores married Gerald G. Moore on September 24, 1949; he preceded her in death on July 26, 1994.  She loved to garden, listen to music, and dance.  Dolores had an open heart, and helped anyone that needed anything.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children; Gregory Moore, Sarah Sosa, and Kenna Elizardo; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; sons, Steven and Robert Moore; siblings, Hank and Louie Garcia, and Theresa Lata.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, where a Scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  A Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Assumption, where visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass.  Fr. Michael Dandurand will officiate.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
