Donald William Rison

Donald William Rison entered into this life June 23, 1980, the youngest child of Rev. David and Mary Rison. On May 28, 2016, his life was finished and he moved to his eternal home in heaven, surrounded at his passing by his family who loved and cherished him deeply.

Donny grew up in the Swanton area. He spent his childhood years at the Swanton Church of the Nazarene, a church founded by his father, Rev. David Rison. He later became a member of New Horizons Church in Delta. Don was a 1998 graduate of Toledo Christian School. He worked as a Computer Technician. He owned and managed D&D Computer in Delta, Ohio. Don was full of life. He had an entrepreneurial spirit. He loved his family more than anything in the world and will be very much missed by them.

Don is survived by his wife Tara; children, Grace Ellen and Elijah William Rison and Joseph (Joey) Carr; his parents Rev. David and Mary Ellen Rison; sister Laurie Wells (Kevin), brother David (Karla), 5 nieces and 1 nephew. He also leaves to mourn his passing uncles William (Barbara) Wahl and Richard Rison, Jr. and aunt Patricia Rison, as well as mother-in-law Veronica Blaesing.

Waiting to meet Don as he passed through Heaven's gates were his grandparents, Mary and Charles Wahl and Richard and Bessie Rison. Also preceding him in death was his father-in-law, William Blaesing.

A Memorial Service honoring Don's life will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Swanton Church of the Nazarene, 315 W. Airport Hwy. in Swanton, Ohio. The service will begin at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:30. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Everyone is welcome to come offer your support for Don's family.
