Donna (Rehklau) Langenderfer

Donna L. Langenderfer, age 74, of Metamora, Ohio, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Flower Hospital in Sylvania. She was born July 1, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to David and Ilva (Getz) Rehklau. Donna graduated from Rogers High School and obtained her Associates Degree from the University of Toledo. She married Robert Langenderfer, and he survives.

Donna worked as a Unit Clerk at The Toledo Hospital. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and Catholic War Veterans Post #306 Ladies Auxiliary in Assumption. Donna enjoyed roller skating and making ceramics.

Besides her beloved husband, Bob, Donna is survived by her siblings, Kent (Tami) Rehklau of Sylvania, OH, Boyd Rehklau of Toledo, OH and Randy (Valerie) Rehklau of Swanton, OH; nephews, Landon Rehklau of Blissfield, MI and David Rehklau of Sylvania, OH; stepchildren, Danny Langenderfer of California and Robyn (Richard) Wixom of Michigan; step-grandchildren, Marshall (Morgan) Wixom, Miles Wixom and Pvt. Trace Wixom; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond (Bev) Langenderfer; as well as several aunts and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda; step-grandson, Sgt Cole Wixom and brother-in-law, Ed Langenderfer.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora., where a CWV Ladies Auxiliary Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, November, 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with Deacon Robert Gillen presiding. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Assumption.

Donna's family expresses a heartfelt appreciation to the Doctor's and Nurses on the 4th floor ICU at Flower Hospital for the compassionate care given to her over the past several weeks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
