Donna Mae Rupley

Donna Mae Rupley, age 87, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center. Donna Mae was born May 27, 1928 to Ella (Bell) and Bert Bearss in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.

Donna Mae married Ronald E. Rupley, Sr. on June 2, 1962. She was the mother of Ronald E. "Ricky" Rupley, Jr. (Judy) of Adrian, MI; Linda S. Wolff (Chris Sutherland) of Metamora, OH; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donna so loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, and for guests when they would come to visit.

Donna Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Many thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the excellent care she received over the last several years and Swanton Health Care for their comforting care up until her passing.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora (419.644.3601). Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center.
