Dorothy H. Bell

Dorothy Helen Bell, age 95, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening, February 6, 2022 at Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center.  She was born January 16, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Earl N. and Ethel (Davis) Leininger.  On June 27, 1947, she married Marion Bell.

Dorothy worked as a housekeeper at The Flower Hospital.  She enjoyed shopping, gardening, playing the lottery and working puzzles. She was known for being a great cook and baking awesome pies.  Most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Sandy Jankowski, Roger Bell and Kathy (Don) Poca; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion; son, Larry Bell; son-in-law, Dennis Jankowski and 3 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services at Highland Memory Gardens will be private.
