Ed Paprocki born July 26, 1966. Ed passed away Sunday morning February 28, 2021 at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by his son Nicolas, parents Ron and Diane, brothers, Mike (Karen) and Tony (Angela), niece and nephews and special connections, Benjamin and Brandon Borman. Preceded in death by special friend Tom Pisola. And was a friend of Bill W. Eddie, as he was affectionately called, graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1985 and spent his life serving others. First in the 3rd Infantry Division of the ARMY, during which after basic training he spent three years in Germany before serving in Desert Storm. Once he returned home, he continued his service to our country by joining the National Guard. Throughout his career, Ed focused on caring for others, working at The Cherry Street Mission and later the Salvation Army. His desire to help others led him to his final position at Genacross Family & Youth Services where he spent the last 15 years serving youth in need. Eddie was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Tigers, and Notre Dame football.
Visitation will be held Friday, July, 23rd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where services will be held at 11:00 am, with Fr. Eric Culler presiding. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
