Eileen F. (Chamberlain) Simon

Eileen Florence Simon, age 86, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, May 7, 2022 at Swanton Valley Care Center. She was born September 4, 1935 in Swanton to the late Wayne and Carrie (Gillen) Chamberlain. Eileen was a graduate of Delta High School, and married Claude Simon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Assumption. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2005.

Eileen worked for Globe in Wauseon and several years as a hostess at Winchesters in Delta. She enjoyed crocheting and needlework, and donating baby blankets she made to area hospitals. She also loved playing cards and bowling, and was very active with the Fulton County Fair selling tickets at the grandstand.

Eileen is survived by many relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 12^th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Assumption.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
