Eleanore C. Felt, age 83, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening, March 18, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born August 10, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to the late George and Bessie (Hartzel) Culbertson. She married Allen Felt, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Eleanore was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. She was a medical technician in the medical corp. Eleanore was a secretary for Rayford Manufacturing until 1963. She and her husband owned and operated Perfection Bowling Service until 1979. They repaired bowling pins for over 100 bowling lanes in the Ohio and Michigan area.

Eleanore is survived by her daughter, Billie McLellan of Swanton, OH and grandsons, Robert and Thomas McLellan.

The family expresses a heartfelt thank you to the doctor’s, nurses and staff at St. Luke’s Hospital and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at Swanton Cemetery, Centerville Road. Pastor John Schlicher will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Swanton Rescue Unit or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
