Ferol L. Witt

Ferol L. Witt, age 83, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, September 19, 2023 in her home. She was born January 2, 1940 in Ogden Center, Michigan to Ray and Margaret (Pifer) Myers. She was a 1958 graduate Metamora High School. Shortly after graduation, Ferol married the love of her life, Raymond Witt.

Ferol was a homemaker and found much joy being around her family, especially with her grandkids. She always enjoyed family get-togethers whenever possible. Ferol loved to laugh and was known as quite the jokester amongst her family. She loved and enjoyed nature to it's fullest, and she spent many days rehabbing animals to health.

Ferol is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Chesser and Julie Zahner; sister, Carol Witt; brother, Roger Myers; grandchildren, Cameron (Ryan) Hewson, Joshua Pontious, Kaleigh Zahner and Logan Zahner; great-grandchildren, Conner, Layla and Hailey; great-great-granddaughter, Remi; and many nieces and nephews

Besides her parents, Ferol was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Witt; brothers, Dale Pifer, Rollie Pifer and Franklin Pifer; sister, Viola Jordan.

Celebration of Life services will be private.
