Frances Eileen Sunday

Frances Eileen Sunday, age 101, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Thursday evening, November 19, 2015 at the Swanton Valley Center. She was born October 18, 1914 in Swanton to Vern G. and Edna M. (Fleming) Robasser. Frances graduated in 1932 from Fulton High School and was the oldest living graduate. She married John F. Sunday on October 7, 1961, and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1999. She was also predeceased by her parents; two infant sisters and four brothers, John G. Robasser, Vern M. Robasser, Ronald R. Robasser and Kenneth J. Robasser.

Frances was a member of Ai Union Church. In her early years, Frances worked as an assistant manager at Valentine Theatre. She also worked 15 years for A.D. Baker in Swanton as secretary to the President. She was known as a caretaker to many people in the area, especially devoting her time to her mother.

Frances is survived by stepson, Larry Sunday; stepdaughter, Martha Gerity; step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and eleven nieces and nephews.

A special Thank You to the nurses and staff at Swanton Valley and Life Choice Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Frances over the past year and a half.

There will be no public visitation and private graveside services will be held at the South Swanton Cemetery with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
