Georgina Lillian Oprsal

Georgina Lillian Oprsal, age 80, of Blissfield, Michigan passed away Wednesday evening, August 26, 2026 at Lynwood Manor in Adrian, Michigan. She was born July 6, 1946 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada to John and Anastasia (Tomecek) Cibulka.

Georgina graduated from Chatham-Kent High School in Chatham, Ontario in 1965. She attended business school for 2 years before taking over the bookkeeping and secretarial duties for the family farm. Besides her love of gardening, she also enjoyed following and participating in the local politics in Blissfield.

Georgina is survived by her sons, Gerald Oprsal and James Oprsal, both of Blissfiled, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Oprsal.

Private graveside services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Assumption, Ohio.
