Gerald "Jerry" W. Stinson

Gerald "Jerry" W. Stinson, age 78, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, October 13, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.  He was born August 27, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Helen (Monaghan) and Alvin Stinson.  Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Swanton High School and on October 1, 1961 married Sharon Gibbons.  

Jerry worked as an inspector for Dana Corporation.  He and Sharon enjoyed wintering in Florida.

Besides his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon, Jerry is survived by his son, Steve (Janell) Stinson; daughter, Stacy (Bruce) Benner; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 4 siblings.

In keeping with Jerry's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
