Harold E. McKimmy, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of the Northwest Ohio area and Federal Way, Washington, passed away Wednesday evening, December 12, 2007 at Bon-Ing Care Center in Gahanna, Ohio. He was born October 15, 1917 in Blissfield, Michigan to the late Royal and Eva (Stutzman) McKimmy. He married Hazel I. Reeves on September 2, 1944.

Harold worked as a salesman for The Andersons before his retirement. He was a member of the Reynoldsburg Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63years, Hazel; children, Linda (Byron) Cox of Columbus, OH, Lillian (Subir) Lahiri of Kent, WA, Leonard (Vicki) McKimmy of Tempe, AZ and Laura (David) Meece of Jackson, MO; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-granchildren, and brothers, Clair (Helen) McKimmy and Ralph (Jan) McKimmy, both of Beaverton, MI.

Harold was preceded in death by his son, Harley Edwin McKimmy and sisters, Velma Bushroe and Donna Asch.

Family and friends may visit Friday, December 21st from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora, Ohio (419-644-3601). Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.
