Graveside Services at Swanton Cemetery will be Private

Helen Schroeder, age 92, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 12, 1924 in Winameg, Ohio to Albert and Josephine Makula. Helen married Kenneth Carl Edward Schroeder; he preceded her in death on October 9, 1996. She was a very crafty person that loved art. Helen enjoyed sewing and crocheting, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Connie (David) Schultz, and Colleen Bell; grandchildren, Dana (Tim) Schmidt, Lisa Schultz, Peter (Christine) Schultz, Joseph (Michelle) Bryan, and Amanda (Joshua) Perry; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters including her twin.

Graveside services will be private at Swanton Cemetery - Centerville road with Father Patrick Rohen, Captain, U.S. Army (Retired) presiding.
