Jacob "Jake" Baldwin

Jacob "Jake" Baldwin, age 24, of Delta, Ohio, passed away suddenly in a car accident, Monday afternoon, December 21, 2015. He was born December 3, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Jody (Gigax) Baldwin.

Jake was a 2010 graduate of Liberty Center High School, where he played football and wrestled. Jake was employed by Pro Rain Lawn Sprinklers for the past 6 years. He loved having coffee every morning with his aunt, Amy before heading out to work with his uncle, Aaron.

He enjoyed spending time with his long time friends way too many to list, whom he has stayed close to since grade school. He and his girlfriend, Linnea loved going out to eat and spending time with family and riding his 4 wheeler.

Many fun times were spent around the bon fire, entertaining everyone with his air guitar and singing Led Zepplin songs.

Jake was loved by so many and always lit up the room. He will be greatly missed by his mom and dad, Harry and Jody Baldwin; sister, Brooke; love of his life for the past 8 years, Linnea Mack; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Doug Gigax, aunts and uncles, Amy (Aaron) Asmus, Stew (Deb) Baldwin, Don (Linda) Baldwin, Chris (Tracy) Baldwin, and Bridgette (Doug) Fisher; as well as many cousins and his dog, Sally.

Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Edith Baldwin and uncle, Steve Baldwin.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, December 26th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Visitation will continue Sunday, December 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, 9474 County Rd. V, Liberty Center, OH 43532, where funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Delta.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
