Jean Frances Rahm

Jean Frances Rahm, age 90, of Swanton, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday evening, August 28, 2023, with her family by her bedside at Northwest Ohio Hospice in Toledo. She was born July 18, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio, to Walter and Margaret (Borck) Brodbeck. Jean was a  1951 graduate of Swanton High School. On August 15, 1959, she married her beloved husband, Glen B. Rahm. She achieved her bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and her master's degree from the University of Toledo.

For over 50 years, Jean taught at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School and Springfield Elementary Schools as a Title 1 Reading Teacher. She was a devout member of both Trinity United Methodist Church in Swanton and Providence Lutheran Church in Holland, Ohio.

 Jean loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She also had many passions and pursuits, including bird watching, gardening, and being an amateur writer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Doug Rahm and Julie Wilson; grandchildren, Berlyn Wilson, Ryan Wilson and Ainsley Rahm; great granddaughter, Kingsli Rowe.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen and brother, Robert Brodbeck.

Private interment will be held at Toledo Memorial Park.
