Joyce Ann Schwyn

Joyce Ann Schwyn, age 78, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 8, 2018, after a 3 1/2 year battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 20, 1939 to Kenneth and Hazel (Saeger) Fetterman in Swanton, Ohio.

 Joyce worked for Farmers and Merchant bank before she had children and after children she  was a stay at home mother. Later she worked for Evergreen Local Schools and NwOESC retiring in 1994. She was a faithful member of Lytton Zion United Church of Christ for 57 years where she was an active member. Joyce was a 4-H advisor for 40 years. Joyce enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics, growing plants and being with her family. She enjoyed teaching her talents to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Schwyn, sons Robert (Linda) Schwyn, Dennis (Ginger) Schwyn and daughters Beverly (Kevin) Noe, Sheri (Aaron) Call; brothers Hal (Susan) Fetterman, Max (Pat) Fetterman, sister Debra (John) Langenderfer, Butch (Marilyn) Blaylock; 12 grandchildren; Derek (Ashley) Schwyn, Steven Schwyn, Brandon Schwyn, Megan Schwyn, Jody Schwyn, Ryan Schwyn, Mariah Call, Kendalyn Noe, Carissa Call, Rachael Noe, Alyssa Noe, and Shane Call and a great grand child on the way.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Don Fetterman.

 Family and friends may visit Sunday, February 11th from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631).  A Memorial service will be held Monday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Dunnifon officiating.  Interment will follow at Fulton Union Cemetery.
