Judith A. Price

Judith A. Price, age 85, of Swanton, Ohio, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away Monday morning, August 10, 2026, at Embassy Healthcare in Swanton. Judy was born August 23, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to Howard and Violet Thompson. Judy was a 1959 graduate of Libbey High School, and married James Price on January 9, 1960.

Those who knew Judy will fondly recall her passion as a “food connoisseur”. She genuinely enjoyed going out to eat and relished the opportunity to socialize with friends and loved ones. Her enthusiasm for good meals and good company created countless memories.

At the core of Judy’s life was her dedication to her family. Being a grandmother was her greatest pride, and her love and support shaped the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Joe) Zalecki and Kathy (Joel) Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Steven Zalecki, Michael Zalecki, Aaron Price, Jason Tressler, and Jessica (Ryan) Barnhart; great-grandchildren, Ashton Zalecki, Emma Hoffman, and Kendall Barnhart; her sister-in-law, Linda Thompson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, Howard and Violet Thompson; and her brothers, David Thompson and Howard K. Thompson.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, August 13th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where services or Judy will begin at 12 (Noon), with Pastor Bruce Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
