Karen Ann Pinkelman, age 74, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away peacefully, under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Ebeid Center in Sylvania, Sunday morning, May 18, 2025.
Karen was born on May 7, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Donald and Bernice (Smith) Pinkelman. She was a 1969 graduate of Evergreen High School, and had a brief career as a beautician working in Ottawa Hills. She spent many days going house to house visiting with neighbors. She also enjoyed summer weekends at her aunt's lake cottage with her mother, Bernice. Karen was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bernice Pinkelman. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy (James) Langenderfer and Connie Pinkelman; niece, Leslie Langenderfer; nephew, Nathan (Lauren) Langenderfer; great-nephew, Everett Langenderfer and great-nieces, Alex and Lila.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 23rd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am, with Msgr. Dennis Metzger presiding. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Assumption.
