Kathy Ann Carroll

Kathy Ann Carroll, age 75, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday morning September 7, 2023. She was born November 5, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter Henry and Irene (Virag) David. She was a 1965 graduate of Clay High School.  Kathy ran off 8 days after her 18th birthday to marry the love of her life, Odene Carroll, Jr. on November 13, 1965.

Kathy was a homemaker and dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She never met a stranger and would hug them all. She loved her dogs, reading, camping and canning. She loved her girls trips with her daughters. She enjoyed attending all her grandkids sporting events and was a Girl Scout leader when her girls were younger.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Odene Carrol, Jr.; children, David Carroll, Julie (Shawn) McCaughey and Jennifer Biggs; grandsons, Joshua (Sarah) McCaughey, Luke (Amber) McCaughey and Andrew Biggs; son-in-law, Brian Biggs and best friend, Linda Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where services will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
