Kathy F. (Haupricht) Christian

Kathy F. Christian, age 79, of Swanton, Ohio; formerly of Monclova, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, March 21, 2024 in her home, with her loving sister, Jonnie at her bedside.  Kathy was born August 21, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Nicholas Louis and Jonnie Gertrude (Wolmack) Haupricht. Kathy was a 1962 graduate of Maumee High School, and on May 4, 1970, married Robert "Chris" Lakeland Christian.  He preceded her in death on February 8, 2013. Together, for over 40 years, they owned and operated the Oak Openings Carryout. 

Kathy was a member of the Swanton VFW and Swanton Senior Center. She loved watching Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball games.

Kathy is survived by her children, Kristina (Scott) Wagner; Debbie (Rick) Johns, Cindy (Les) Elton and Robert "Lakie" (Cindy) Christian; 7 grandchildren; her sister, Jonnie Roschmann; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Mary Jane Roschmann; best friend Barb Engel and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
