Kelly passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2009, from complications of diabetes. Born March 23, 1967, Kelly graduated from Swanton High School then earned her degree in Criminal Justice from Owens Community College. Kelly worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections. Her fiery personality, matched her red hair, masked a warm heart. She loved babies, dogs, country music and all things Harley. She was an enthusiastic 'biker chic' and avid gardener.

Kelly is survived by her son, Matthew Peets; parents, Mike and Linda Ross; sister, Michelle (Phil) Huss; brother, Jason (Shannon) Ross; nieces, Glinda and Mariah; nephews, Michael, Robert and Eric; grandfather, Tex Fondren and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kelly was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ross.

There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Richard Church, Swanton on Monday, March 2, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Please join us as we celebrate Kelly's life!
