Kimberly Ann (Barden) Cassady, age 51, of Toledo, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was born October 27, 1966 in Morenci, Michigan to Janice and Harlan Barden. She grew up in Lyons, Ohio and was a 1984 graduate of Evergreen High School.
Kim thoroughly enjoyed working at Wal-Mart as a store clerk for several years. She loved nature and spending time in the great outdoors. Kim also enjoyed listening to music and had a passion for cooking and trying out new recipes.
Kim will be greatly missed by her mother, Janice Barden-Miller; stepfather, John Miller; sons, D.J. (Rachel) Heising and Jeremy Heising; daugther, Clarissa Heising; sisters, Lisa (Rick) Hein and Linda (Steve) Hein; stepbrothers, John Miller, Jr., Joe (Donna) Miller, Dan (Sandy) Miller and Jerry (Tronda) Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Olivia.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Cassady; father, Harlan Barden; paternal grandparents, June and Lowell Barden; maternal grandparents, Gertrude and Harry Soderholm; and her uncle, Melvin Soderholm.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, January 2nd from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
