Larry E. Leupp

Larry E. Leupp, age 78, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born August 23, 1944 in Archbold, Ohio to Orlen and Naomi (Frey) Leupp. He was devoted to his faith and was a long-time member of Fulton Union Christian Church in Delta. 

 

Larry graduated from Archbold High School in 1963. He took great pride in his 50+ years as a truck driver, a career he loved.  Larry had many interests that he enjoyed throughout his life, including listening to southern gospel music, watching high school basketball, plowing, and mowing grass on his property with his John Deere tractors. Larry always looked forward to attending the annual Fulton County Fair and the National Threshers Reunion.  Larry served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was extremely patriotic. 

 

Larry will be remembered for his strong faith and love for family. He is survived by his daughters, Tricia (Matthew) Hoover; Tanya (Richard) Hatch; Katie (Todd) Mannix; stepsons, Eric (Jennifer) Barnes and Brian (Emily) Barnes; thirteen grandchildren; siblings Joan Long, Janice (Don) Hancock, Ron (Vivian) Leupp, Judy Sears, and Karen Schnitkey as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donnabelle Mast, and twin brother Leslie Leupp. 

 

Visitation will be held Friday, June 9th from 4 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 am at Fulton Union Christian Church, with Pastor Alan Weese officiating.  Interment will follow at Fulton Union Cemetery. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Fair Foundation.
