Linda A. Rieger

Linda A. Rieger, age 64, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee. She was born February 11, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Mable (Shavers) Rieger. Linda was raised in Swanton and was a 1971 graduate of Swanton High School, graduating seventh in her class. She was a very bright individual and very first Penta County representative in her class.

Linda worked as a secretary for Waller Insurance Agency. That is where she met the love of her life, Kenneth Garmenn. Together they owned and operated Delta Storage, as well as provided leaf pick up, fair clean up, and other services. They enjoyed spending time at their winter home in Florida where she loved bathing in the Florida sunshine. Linda enjoyed shopping and collecting antiques and jewelry and finding great bargains at garage sales.

Linda will be greatly missed by her mother, Mable; siblings, Harold (Judi) Rieger, Jerry (Connie) Rieger, John (Kristin) Rieger, Deborah (Matt) Fowler and Dan (Kim) Rieger; and several special nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and spoiled them as though they were her own children.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; infant nephew, David Rieger and the love of her life, Kenny Garmenn.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 8th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at East Swanton Cemetery, with Pastor Ed Strietelmeier officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
