Marlene M. Dziengelewski

May 1, 1945 — September 9, 2017

Marlene (Strezinski) Dziengelewski, age 72 of Swanton Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 9th, 2017. Marlene was born in Toledo Ohio on May 1st 1945 to the late Frank and Martha Strezinski. She attended Springfield High School and worked for many years at Heartland of Waterville (Browning). She was married to the love of her life Francis J. Dziengelewski for 42 years. He preceded her in death on March 23rd, 2006.

Marlene was a devoted mother and loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her grandchildren’s events, and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters. Marlene was always one to tell it how it was and she had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.

Marlene will be greatly missed by her three sons, Dennis (Carol) of Swanton; Mark (Jill) of Swanton; Matthew (Jennifer) of Delta and grandchildren Paige and Zachary, Mark Jr., Andrew, Tabitha; Devon, also Aaliyah and Devante and two great-grandchildren Garrett and Alaina. Marlene is survived by siblings Robert Strezinski; Josephine McIntire; Ronald Strezinski (Carolyn); Donald Strezinski (Iko); David Strezinski (Pamela); Janice Warner (Roland); Patricia Schmitz (Richard); Charlie Strezinski (Janet) and many nieces and nephews. Marlene is also preceded in death by her sister Marsha Nitsch and loving pet Sunshine.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 from 2-7 p.m at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, Ohio (419.826.2631). A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
