Mary L. Rose, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away Wednesday morning, February 13, 2008 at The Toledo Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born February 1, 1931 in Ray, Indiana to the late Earl and Clara (Stiles) Paul. She married Denton Hubbell, Sr., and they were married 50 years until his death on June 13, 2000. She married Kenneth Rose, Jr. on July 2, 2005. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2007. Also preceding her in death were siblings, Junior Paul, Robert Paul, Max Paul, Andy Paul, Billie Holman, Andrew Paul, Lindy Paul and Louie Paul.

Mary, along with her late husband, Denton, was former owner of D & M Clothing and Shoe in Camden, Michigan. Mary loved traveling and camping throughout the United States. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Delta Eagles and the Rebecca Lodge in Coney, Ohio.

Mary is survived by her children, JoAnn (Rick) Maag of Bowling Green, OH, Dennis (Dawn) Hubbell of Green Bay, WI, Denton, Jr. (Cindy) Hubbell of Yuma, AZ and Elaine (Roger) Traxler of Camden, MI; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Jean Saul of Angola, IN; sister-in-law, Pat (Don) Stoner and brother-in-law, Ned (Barb) Hubbell.

Friends and family may visit Saturday, February 16th from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, (419-826-2631).

Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will be private.
