Michael "Iron Mike" Pawlinski

Michael D. Pawlinski, aka “Iron Mike”, age 69, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, February 29, 2024 at the University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by his family.  Mike was born, January 29, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Betty Pawlinski.  

Mike was an iron worker for many years and member of Local #55.  He also was a member of St. Richard Parish.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and playing poker.  Mike cherished moments spent with this family on Sunday afternoon watching the Cleveland Browns and Nascar. 

Mike will be deeply missed by his wife, Peggy; son, Ryan (Lauren) Pawlinski, daughter, Emily (Dan) Loch; grandchildren, Evie and Isla Pawlinski and Davis Loch; mother, Betty; sister, Becky Johnson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Edward Pawlinski, sister, Robin Chevalier; brother, Doug Pawlinski; sister-in-law, Brenda Pawlinski and brother-in-law, Robert Johnson.

Family and friends may visit Friday, March 8th from 2 to 6 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton.
