Michelle Lynn Winterfeld

Michelle Lynn Winterfeld, age 52, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, July 22, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born January 14, 1971 in Toledo to Thomas Winterfeld and Linda Micheals.  Michelle was a 1989 graduate of Rogers High School. She worked for the Toledo express Airport for 20 plus years and most recently worked at Nature Fresh in Delta.

Michelle's devotion to her family truly defined her character. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, finding immense joy in their presence. Michelle had an undeniable love for nature's beauty. The vibrant colors of sunflowers and tulips brought warmth to her heart. Michelle loved the great outdoors and delighted in sitting around the campfire with family and friends or fishing at the Swanton Reservoir.

Michelle will be greatly missed by her mother, Linda (Donald) Wereley; children, Rebecca Eckhoff, Brandon Eckhoff, Mark Winterfeld, Kaycie Eckhoff and Alexia Eckhoff ; precious grandchildren, Juhlianna, Tomas', Aliliana, Alexiana, Trevor Jr., Ahnalicia, Mark Jr. and Nico; and father of her children, Thomas Eckoff.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Winterfeld; grandson, Lelind; and brother, David Winterfeld.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
