Graveside Services: Saturday, January 31st at 2:00 pm at Amboy Township Cemetery
Penny E. Hepfinger, age 69, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away peacefully, with her family at her bedside, Tuesday morning, January 27, 2015, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born September 15, 1945 in Ashland, Ohio. Penny worked as a custodian for the Evergreen School District.
She loved fishing with her husband, Michael, and tending to injured wild birds that were rescued and brought in to her. She was known as “Mema Bird Lady”.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Michael; son, Allen L. Sengstock; daughter, Abby E. Lester; and step sister, Carol Hartsel.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Amboy Township Cemetery, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allen County SPCA, Toledo Animal Shelter Association, or Ebeid Promedica Hospice.
