Peter Franklin Craig

Peter Franklin Craig, age 94, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025, at Ayden Healthcare of Waterville. Peter was born on February 9, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to Peter and Ella (Scalise) Craig. Peter lived a life marked by service, faith, and dedication.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Peter served during World War II, embodying the principles of courage and integrity that define our nation's military. His commitment to his country was central to his identity and shaped his values throughout his life.

In addition to his military service, Peter took great pride in joining the Catholic Church. His faith was a source of inspiration and guidance throughout his life, especially following the death of his beloved wife, Annie.

Peter is remembered fondly for his patriotic spirit, which resonated not only through his actions but also in the way he interacted with those around him. His love for his country left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Peter is predeceased by his wife, Annie, whose presence brought joy and companionship to his life. Their shared years were filled with love and devotion to each other.

In keeping with Peter's wishes, he will be cremated and services will be private.
