Phyllis Louise Johnson

Phyllis Louise Johnson age 86 of rural Delta, passed away Friday, January 3rd 2025, peacefully in her home. She was a mother, grandmother, and aunt to many. 

Phyllis was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 24, 1938 to Helen Mastin. On December 17th 1956, she married her true love, William Johnson who departed in 2019. 

She loved butterflies, playing dice, and adventures with family. She enjoyed her weekend homecooked dinners prepared by her granddaughter Nicole. She also enjoyed weekends with her sister Louis and all her nieces and nephews. She was definitely a character. If you knew her you know she was a riot to be around. 

Surviving are her children, Sue (JC) Bishop of Delta. Billy (Peggy) Johnson of Swanton. Scott (Leo) Johnson of Defiance. Ronnie Johnson of Delta. Ricky Johnson of Delta; grandchildren Nicole (Matt) Bishop, Jeremy (Jackie) Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Ashley (Austin) Johnson, Leah (Ryan) Baker and Jenelle Rieger. She also has her great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews she loved. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, William, her mother Helen, her son, Michael Johnson and her grandson, Barry Johnson. Phyllis also had her siblings Louis Whitehead, Cliff Mastin, Wilbur Mastin, and Chuck Mastin, also precede her in death.
