Richard C. "Fritz" Fuller, age 72, life-long resident of Swanton, Ohio, passed away of a sudden heart attack, Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2020. He was born June 14, 1947 in Swanton, Ohio to the late Robert Lee and Edna May (Dunkerton) Fuller. Richard was a 1965 graduate of Swanton High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Richard worked for the Dana Corporation until being laid off, and went on to get his real estate license. Although Richard never married, he devoted his time taking care of his parents until their death. He continued to work as a real estate agent alongside his close friend and mentor, Joe Chew, and fixed up homes to sell up until his health declined.
Richard is survived by his brother, Robert E. (Dorothy) Fuller; sisters, Dorothy E. White and Marilyn J. Krupa; numerous nieces and nephews; and friend, Joe Chew and his family.
Besides his parents, Robert and Edna Fuller, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Gordon White and James Krupa.
Graveside services, with Military Rites, will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Swanton Cemetery.
