Richard M. Mosher Jr

Richard Melvin Mosher, Jr. age 57, of Van Wert, Ohio; formerly of Swanton, died at Lima Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2013 after suffering through a long illness. He was born August 10, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard, Sr. and Joan (Fitzsimmons) Mosher. On November 5, 1999 he married Karen Massie.

Rich worked as a foreman at the Pilliod Cabinet Company in Swanton and as a superintendent at Scottdel in both Swanton and California.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Karen; daughters, Melanie (Kevin) Gladieux; Christa Neiberg, and Lisa (Dan) Hebur; son, Terry (Karee) Dickey,Jr.; brother, Martin ( Mary) Mosher; sisters, Pam Massie (John) and Rebecca (Ed) Pitzen; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1st at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
