My name is Bob Simon, grew up on Utah street in east Toledo. The Ueberroth family lived behind us on Clark street. I am 63, but have brothers Jim and Tom Simon who where Rick's age. What I remember Rick from is he must have been left handed, because he gave me one of my very first baseball gloves to use as I was the only other left handed person around my age. Just remember being thankful that not really knowing me he passed me down his used glove. Shows he was a kind, generous person back in his younger days. Just wanted to pass that along in your time of sorrow. Still thankful, Bob Simon.
